Sympathetic Extension In Hoby Melton Mowbray
Blackstone Building Contracts were asked to build a sympathetic extension to a 150 year old cottage in the village of Hoby, Melton Mowbray.
Creating a larger kitchen, ensuite bathroom and a master bedroom with terrace to take advantage of the stunning views of the Wreake Valley.
Attention to detail was paramount to the owners of the cottage and matching the old and new bricks was vital as was the brick pattern used.
Situated at the end of a narrow single track lane held its challenges with deliveries and turning.
The end result not only created space but blended in with the new extension blending in perfectly with the original building.
